Simplified server rules, addendum to the actively used Arma forum rules + (Discord Guidelines and Terms of Service).

1. English only communication by everyone.
   Exception might be staff explaining the rule. This covers both public and private text or voice.
   Same exception may apply to language-specific channels (only if they do exist).

2. Please refrain from tagging `Bohemia.net` staff, if (non-game) situation needs immediate attention, please tag a Moderator.
   When they can't provide the necessary information or are unresponsive, then you may tag `sysop` administrator.

3. Zero tolerance policy regarding ban or block evasion, offensive behavior, sustained bullying,
   this includes: harassment, name calling, racism, sexism, homophobia, derogatory remarks, directed or excessive profanity, vulgarities and insults.

4. Users are entitled to their own opinions or views, yet arguments shall be kept polite and civil.
   No to troll, flame-bait or flame or defame.

5. This Discord is no place for conversation about politics, or any political issues.

6. No to any : Advertising, Spam (includes Duplicate/Cross-Post), Malware, explicit , questionable content!
   any violation of the intellectual property right of others is prohibited!
 
7. When posting a link, please include a description/context to what is content,
   place it within the appropriate channel else it might be deleted.

8. Follow channel names, descriptions, pinned messages to avoid clutter of chat.
   When you join the static / temporary voice channel while already in-use then don't hijack existing discussion.

9. Moderators are volunteers who moderate, intervene only when needed, by their best judgement in uncertain situations.
   If you feel that you have been wrongly handled by a Moderator please contact `sysop` or `cm`, wait till response (as soon as possible).

Those who violate rules may get Muted, Kicked, Temporarily or Permanently Banned in relation to the severity of the violation.

Please respect each other in this Discord server and follow the above mentioned rules.

  • use other channels correctly, #general_chat_arma chat room can't handle flow for all of thousands / tens thousands concurrent chatting users ... ℹ️
  • channels for clan/group/community/squad/server 'representation' = #communities_arma_reforger #communities_arma3 , #communities_arma_legacy
    without overuse (once in two weeks), any abuse behavior will result into kick or ban ⚠️
  • do not post active URL to cheat and shady sites ... ⚠️
  • do not post URL links nor Discord Invites w/o short description of what it is , anywhere ⚠️
