Hermes memory options — is stock memory enough?

Hey everyone,
I just installed Hermes and have been trying it out. I also tested OpenClaw, but Hermes has been working much better for me so far.
I have a couple of questions:
Do I need to install some kind of extra memory tool for Hermes, or is the built-in memory usually enough?
If an extra memory tool is recommended, which one should I look into? I noticed there are quite a few options, but I’m not sure what features actually matter.
Are there any other tools, extensions, or setup changes you would recommend to make Hermes work better overall?
I’m still new to Hermes, so any advice on recommended memory options or useful add-ons would be appreciated.
