I'm getting internal messages in Telegram again.

these look like user facing messaging to me, can you describe the problem in another way for me? i may not be understanding what the expectation is.

I guess I don't understand why I would see these? I'm getting spammed with these types of messages. Very annoying.

Those aren't accidental internal debug logs, they're Hermes gateway status messages. The rate-limit ones mean your model provider is hitting a retry/backoff path, not that Telegram itself is rate limiting you. The command approval prompt is also expected behavior, not leakage.

What's making it feel spammy is that your gateway is set to show full tool progress. If you want a quieter Telegram experience, reduce display.tool_progress from all to new or off in config.yaml. new is usually the sweet spot.

Which provider is this? The bouncing off of the rate limiter is real, so it would help to know which provider is actually hitting the rate limiter.

Using Qwen3.6-plus:free via OpenRouter

Also, I was going to try the new MiMo V2 Pro model via the Nous Portal but it looks like free tier requires you put in credit card information. Is that correct?

Yes, it requires CC info, though you can use the free tier. I believe it's mostly to validate your humanity more than anything.

On the openrouter free model front, they limit you to 1000 requests per day if you've bought at least 10 credits, which may be why you're seeing the rate limiting. When using a paid model, I would expect that rate limiting to go away.

BTW, I'm still getting a ton of Telegram internal message leakage. Not sure what is wrong. I keep asking Hermes to fix it but it doesn't stick.
