I Have moved Hermes Live files into my vault. Not sure how impactful, seemed useful to me to be able to see what Hermes is seeing when pulling a tool
Have always wondered if the agent can use the wiki link system or not.
I’m using obsidian terminal plugin to run Hermes in the vault
Any tools to help facilitate him being able to spawn a new terminal and use it on his own? Have been looking into Tmux/Dmux/ and Paperclip. Just haven’t had time to test any yet.
Yeah it’s still a little new to me since I have no example to view. Just experimenting, I’ve heard of the obsidian CLI but didn’t make sense when I tried it after it got released.
I just want Hermes to be the maestro controlling anything and anyone but from within my vault.
Am I doing a big workaround having Hermes in the obsidian app (terminal plugin) instead of regular terminal.
I knew it could I’m just too dumd and slow to figure it out lol
Will ask Hermes how to transition to obsidian CLI because I did hear it’s way better for agents. Thank you man. Might dm with some basic questions when I try.
That would help because my vault is gonna get big. I plan to store a lot of scraped Docs pages and will need Hermes to travers thousands of files wisely.
With how fast the space is moving I think building a vault for agents will be incredibly useful.
Will only get better overtime.
based on zettelkasten
thanks for teaching me a new term
i think this could easily be adopted into an obsidian vault memory system. i've been working on memory stuff with the hermes agent all day
Would this be useful if I’m scraping a lot of docs pages, that way it’s easier for the agent to travers?
use obsidian cli and local files in mounted cloud storage eg icloud
zettlekasten is cool but it just didn’t really help my thinking when working without agents, now agents of course can do the hard work for you in maintaining the pkm, but i haven’t pivoted back yet not sure i will.
i like a note not longer than 1-2 scrolls and leave a section at the bottom for agent notes backlinks etc
prefer a deep nested graph work, research, library, projects and then topics about 10 folders deep for each item
using qmd, mem0 and honcho lol
using opus ask agent to front load with /onboard command
