Here's a thought:

Ability to change location of the personal Island, Move it, without destroying the buildings once in a month or so.

Why is this a good thing?

As of now, the center of the map is St.Jean, which means, most of the trades are happening in there.
Whatever is crafted or needs to be sold, the best bet would be to sell it/buy it from the auction in St.Jean.

Later game, higher level players I bet should go towards west right? Why not make Surako for example a late game port/ center for trade?

With the ability to move the personal island with all the buildings intact would allow players that are in late game to move from east to west and craft bulkheads and other heavy items in the west and transport them easier.

If not that It's just a QoL feature really.

Trust me, they will charge you coins for this 🤣

I say no, since you can have multiple islands. I would however like to see a partial refund when abandoning a personal island as the investment is quite significant

I'd settle for a partial refund of construction resources. Perhaps 50% back for the first building and then a lower % for each additional building after that.

Actually... scratch that. Make it the opposite. The more stuff you build, the greater the refund %. This discourages people from rapidly moving islands around and instead retains the current incentive to stay and build up. Would help prevent teleportation cheese

Yeah but if you time gate it either seasonally one change or monthly then there is no cheesing actually.

That would work too but it's going to cost coins and I'd much prefer a refund that's accessible to all players.

Is that "resources" as in the stuff in the warehouse or is that "resources" as in the stuff you used to build the buildings?
