I wanted to know if anyone else noticed that GPT-4o was acting a little strange after the rollback at the end of April. I know it was reverted to the old version, but I thought it would have gone back to normal after a month or had some kind of update. I've seen complaints of this kind not only in the OpenAI community, but also on Reddit in the OpenAI and ChatGPT communities. I use it for creative writing, not to write books or stories for publication, but to read myself, so I noticed it immediately after the rollback. However, people who don't use GPT-4o for creative writing have also said they noticed the same things:
It's slower, confusing, and very contradictory, for example: One moment it says something is okay and the next it says it's not okay. When I question him, he apologizes and makes the same mistake again.
He also seems to ignore some details of the prompt even though I write in super detailed form and highlight the important points. He has also become very repetitive, not only in terms of repeating words, phrases and expressions. But even in repeating his own answers, even when I correct him.
I feel like his creativity has simply disappeared. He writes obvious things, cliché phrases and scenes.
