FADE IN:

INT. BAKERY - DAY

Business is booming at the bakery, and David is now a skilled baker himself. One day, as he is working on a new bread recipe, Sarah, a regular customer, walks in.

SARAH:
Hi, David. Your bread is amazing. Have you ever thought of opening your own bakery?

DAVID:
(smiling) Actually, I have. But it's just a dream at this point.

SARAH:
Well, you should make that dream a reality. You have a gift.

David thinks about Sarah's words as he continues to work. Later that day, he approaches Mr. Johnson with a proposal.

DAVID:
Mr. Johnson, I've been thinking. What if I opened my own bakery?

MR. JOHNSON:
(smiling) I think that's a great idea. And I'll even help you get started.

David is thrilled and begins to make plans for his new bakery.

(smiling) I knew you could do it. Your bread is still the best.

DAVID:
(smiling back) Thank you, Sarah. You were the one who gave me the idea, after all.

David is now the proud owner of a successful bakery, and he owes it all to his passion for bread-making and the guidance of Mr. Johnson.

DAVID:
(smiling) Of course! Let me get you a sample.

David hands the man a slice of his freshly baked bread. The man takes a bite and closes his eyes, savoring the taste.

(amazed) This is incredible. The texture, the flavor, everything is perfect.

INT. DAVID'S BAKERY - DAY (ONE YEAR LATER)

David's bakery has expanded even further, with locations in several cities across the country. David is in his office, going over the latest sales reports when Sarah walks in.

SARAH:
(smiling) I can hardly keep up with your success, David.

DAVID:
(grinning) I know, it's been quite a journey. But I couldn't have done it without the people who have supported me along the way.

SARAH:
(serious) Speaking of support, have you talked to your family lately?

David's smile fades as he shakes his head.

DAVID:
(sadly) No, I haven't. They weren't too thrilled with my decision to leave the family business and start my own bakery.

SARAH:
(sympathetically) That's tough, David. But you've accomplished so much. I'm sure they'll come around eventually.

David nods, but he's not so sure.

(nervously) I just wanted to come by and see you and Mom. I know we haven't talked in a while.

David's mother walks into the room and gives him a warm hug.

MOTHER:
(tearfully) We're so proud of you, David. We always knew you were destined for greatness.

David's father still looks unconvinced, but as David begins to tell him about his success, he can see a glimmer of pride in his father's eyes.

FATHER (V.O):
David, I just wanted to say how proud I am of you. Your mother and I have been following your success, and we couldn't be happier for you.

DAVID:
(smiling) Thank you, Dad. That means a lot to me.

FATHER (V.O):
I know I haven't always shown it, but I am proud of the man you've become. You took a risk, and it paid off. I'm sorry it took me so long to see that.

David can hear the emotion in his father's voice, and it brings tears to his eyes.

DAVID:
(choked up) Thank you, Dad. That really means a lot.

FATHER (V.O):
I was wondering if you'd be willing to teach me how to bake bread. Maybe I can learn a thing or two from you.

David can hardly believe what he's hearing, but he agrees, and his father comes to visit him at the bakery.
