comparing Perplexity with ChatGPT plus cant be compared. Perplexity is a search enginge replacmeent. it has horrible chat conversation history because its not made for that. ChatGPT is like its called for Chatting. you can search the web but its worse than perplexity. for 20 bucks you get full chatGPT expirence plus sora plus codex. this is huge. 1. Price max subscription at a high price to not attract regular users to purchase it
2. Give out free 1y pro subscriptions to as many people as they can
3. Market comet as a max only feature but there's a limited list for pro users to join
4. Allow max & pro users to invite others
5. New pro users will keep asking for new invites and voluntary download the browser

This creates an illusion and a false sense, because you're asking for an invite yourself, they aren't forcing you to download comet

Nothing points to the auto suggest metric that you shown above

In legal terms, they arent collecting data, they are giving you auto suggestions based on ur input

Its also a smart disguise to get around legal issues and policies they created

They could argue that this endpoint is merely used to provide auto suggestions, users will not be able to know if these metrics are being stored and tied to your ID
