spaces can be customized with instructions so whenever you prompt there, perplexity will follow those instructions in addition to your prompt. it also keeps things organized by showing a different prompt history, showing only the ones that had to do with that space

so you could have a work space let's say, that replies to you in a certain way with a certain amount of knowledge in terms of context (what your work is, what resources you need, etc)
