Welcome to Auchenshuggle community server and Discord!
A questing server for hundreds of members to play on the same server's (more servers will be added in future as demand grows)!

due to everyone having building rights then certain rules need to be implemented, please consider this before discussing them on discord!
If we don't implement them then the server stability will decline as builds, alters, chests and loot grows, this means less players will be able to be in the lobby simultaneously before issues arise, yes I could lock player numbers to less than 16 but we don't want to waste our time on a server that will be empty most of the time! the main goal is to have a consistent player count of at least 8-10 players peaking at 11-16 players during peak times, once this is achieved then a second server will launch on a new game, old servers wont be taken offline, this just helps to send new players to the new save and players who don't want to start with a new character can play on the server that has already players level 35!

General rules!

only helpers/admin can place magic chests for stability reasons, only one normal chest is allowed in a players own build/home!Welcome to Auchenshuggle community server and Discord!

⦁ when we have 200+ members, most players only play for a short time build a tiny house then don't come back, if chests are hidden in these players builds and they don't play then all this puts unnecessary strain on the server which is not fair on regular players, when we have hundreds of tiny homes with lots of loot inside this will break the server making it unplayable, please store personal items on your own server (weapons, armour)!
⦁ magic chests will only be for loot drop, storerooms (hub), building supplies (player village), farming/husbandry supplies (mass production farm)

Don't use the player hub as a resource server, players who only join to do so will have their steam id permanently banned from our discord/server!
⦁ players who join craft/take loot then leave and don't play on the server or help collect loot will be banned and their steam id noted and passed to other community sever owners so don't blame me if you start getting removed from the busiest servers!
⦁ no second chances here, if you need anything to use on a different server then ask first admin can give you what you need, allow you to craft what you need without flagging your steam id and discord tag or point you in the direction of a public resource server!
don't bring materials from resource servers into the server without permission!
⦁ this is particularly relevant when a new save sever launches, many players enjoy collecting resources and looting, bringing loot in drastically reduces the lifespan of that server and these players stop playing if this element is removed!
⦁ items like weapons, armour, ammo and shields can be brought in for personal use only, DO NOT put them in loot drop chests or weapon store chests, only drop loot collected on the server in these chests please!
any areas in the hub, villages and mass farm not accessible without a building tool are out of bounds to everyone except helpers!
⦁ anyone found in these areas will be banned from the server until the next server stability restart, if caught twice you will be permanently banned!
lobby chat is reserved for English only!
⦁ non English speakers please use relevant discord voice channels for your spoken language, this will also help you find players to talk to!
⦁ if no voice channel is available for your spoken language then ask admin to add one for it!

Crafting/Hub rules!

only craft in the hub if you play on the server!
⦁ offenders will be permanently banned from discord/server!
⦁ don't try to access areas in the hub where helpers are working as these areas are out of bounds, hanging around the hub is also forbidden, craft/collect what you need then leave!
⦁ no hanging around as this is what trolls do to find stores and mess with the server, don't get removed for this as persistent offenders will be permanently banned from discord/servers!
DO NOT CRAFT CRAFTING STATIONS (nothing with inventory slots)
⦁ helpers will use these to supply magic chests for all to use through crafting table and NPC's!
⦁ if supplies are running low or depleted needed for table/NPC then screenshot recipe screen for helpers to restock what's needed!
⦁ players will steal stuff for different servers that is sometimes missed so please help by reporting supplies that have been depleted ASAP!
only use what's available to craft with in the hub, DO NOT PLACE ANYTHING OR BUILD/REMOVE ANYTHING ON THIS ALTER WITHOUT PERMISSION!
⦁ everything you need can be crafted using the crafting table or NPC's!
BEFORE crafting please browse the weapon or building stores (normal chests) for anything useful before wasting resources on things already crafted!
⦁ all relevant supplies dropped in the loot drop chests on this alter will be sorted into relevant stores by helpers!
anything in chests in the weapons store or building material stores can be taken by members to use on our servers!
⦁ please drop unwanted materials/personal items in loot drop magic chests (next to alter)

Quest rules!
players doing quests is the main priority of the server, doing quests, hollow halls, shroud roots with more 10 players is absolutely amazing fun!

we recommend that low level players complete missed server missions to gain easy xp to level up a bit and the missions will be relevant to your current character level!
⦁ you can do any quests but if you struggle access the missed missions through the journal!
please don't rush ahead of all other players, wait at doorways and fast travel locations for everyone doing the quest!
⦁ DO NOT start the quest until everyone has caught up to you!
⦁ players get very easily lost, your going to be waiting for everyone before completing the quest/cutting the roots if you rush ahead!
⦁ DO NOT complete the quest or CUT DOWN ROOTS if all players on their way are not present as they wont get XP, skill points or the quest completed!
this is really frustrating when people don't understand or care!
⦁ offenders will be removed without warning, if this happens you will not be able to re-join the server until its restarted the next day for stability!

DO NOT complete server quests alone!
⦁ if no one is online, please do missed server missions if you want to! wait for at least 5 players before asking if anyone wants to do any quests NOT yet completed on the server!
⦁ this prevents one player completing the game while everyone is offline!
⦁ please report anyone doing so!
please collect loot dropped by enemies/in chests as you go!
⦁ its always the same few players who collect stuff while its always the same several players who rush on killing everything solo, this sucks for those actually picking up resources as they don't get to kill anything!
⦁ this will drive players away from the server so offenders will be removed from lobby until next server restart!
drop unwanted loot in designated magic chests beside the player hub flame alter!
⦁ this is available for all members to craft with!
hollow halls, bosses, shroud roots for example can be done anytime with any number of players!
⦁ please pop in lobby chat when planning to do so, pinging location will also get players attention so they know they can join in if they wish!

Building rules!
this is a questing server for hundreds of players and not a building server so space is very limited!
building is voluntary, no need to build if you don't want to!
the building aspect is just to give players something to do when they join one of our a new to them or new save server, it also will make our server unique as every home has been built by a different player!

only one plot per person on all player villages not one on each village alter!
⦁ if you want to build another home please let admin know so they can demolish your old house for another player to build on!
pick a free plot then DM (message) admin with screenshot of location and steam id, when you receive a password you can start building!
⦁ only server owner will have access to this info, he can get your info from the server logs but this is a lot of work for one person, this is for keeping track of people who change characters or stop playing and also those who use the server as a resource server!
⦁ anyone signing in using a password with an unknown to owner steam id will be removed from the server for security and safety reasons!

only one normal chest is allowed in players home!
⦁ if used for high level loot then hiding it behind a wall is recommended due to the high player numbers on the server!
⦁ there will be an out of bound hidden store on each village alter filled with building materials in magic chests for all to use on that alter!
⦁ you don't need to know where it is as you can use these materials in hidden magic chests if you have one block, roof, soil, stone for example!
⦁ builders chests will be available in the house next to hub alter these will allow access to all hidden materials on relevant alter, these will have 1 block of each material and a building tool, please return these back to the appropriate chests (not the loot drop magic chests) when finished building!
⦁ if supplies of a certain material are depleted in the village storeroom then craft what you need at a crafting table in the player hub, craft one magic chest then place it on the path outside your home, when finished drop items and magic chest not used in the unused materials magic chests drop next to the flame alter then admin will transfer them to the hidden building material storeroom!
DO NOT remove any walls, fences or paths marking out any plots!
⦁ your whole build will be demolished without warning if anything is removed/moved before replacing with your chosen fence wall!
⦁ players who know the rules that remove the markers then build over more than one plot will also have their build demolished without warning!
⦁ same goes for basements, keep within your plot and respect neighbouring plots!

DO NOT just build 4 walls around the perimeter of your plot and stick a roof on it!
⦁ use the basement for this, new plots will have a perimeter wall underneath marking out your plot underneath, this wall MUST NOT be removed as its for marking out yours and adjacent plots, put your own walls within these walls so if when you change the walls your not removing neighbours walls when doing so or accidently stealing land from your neighbour!
⦁ you only get one plot for a home so take your time and don't rush it!we recommend that low level players complete missed server missions to gain easy xp to level up a bit and the missions will be relevant to your current character level! do
⦁ please build a tiny house and garden, treehouse, hobbit hole so it blends in on the village alter!
⦁ big square ugly or oversized builds/towers will be demolished!
⦁ hundreds of players cant each build a home if players don't respect boundaries
DO NOT remove any walls from any out of bounds areas!
⦁ this includes the whole player hub, player village building material storerooms and mass production farm storerooms!
⦁ persistent offenders will be banned
players wishing to build something big or unique must anywhere must request to do in the build request thread!
⦁ explain what you want to build with screenshots of location!
⦁ home must be completed before requests (basement doesn't need finished just up top)

new server/game rules!
everyone who joins in the first 3 to 5 days on any new servers will be required to start with a new character or wait until most new characters playing on the server are at least level 25!

anyone joining a new server with a level 35 character will be removed from lobby!
⦁ it usually only takes players three days under current settings for most regular players to reach level 25 so you wont have to play on a new character if you don't want to!
⦁ please just be patient while new characters enjoy the game without level 35 players wanting to travel all over the map straight away, these players are also usually responsible for flooding the server with end game materials when nothing is available at first!
⦁ double XP makes levelling up a breeze
⦁ perfect excuse to create a different class of character!
