Hi, @coral herald. So just looking at your log I see a lot of [graphics] Failed to allocate download buffer memory. errors right before the crash that could indicate an issue with the game being able to access either system memory or Vram on your system.

This is usually (but not always) caused by a lack of resources, or the resources being eaten up by something.

As you have more than enough available RAM on your system when the game starts up and your GPU is well above specs, it's more likely that something is running on your system that is eating up your VRAM while you are playing.

  • The first thing I would do is go into task manager and disable anything in there you do not want running when you start up your system - as windows usually puts quite a bit of stuff on there by default that you do not need. Turn off any background recording software like Shadowplay, as well as any streaming or video apps, then restart your system. Start up your game without opening any other software and see if there is still crashing.

I am also seeing that you are playing online. While it isn't typical that this would cause this specific error, however there is an error right before it writeSampleJointAnimationCommand time < 0 which could also be contributing to the issue.

  • log in to a solo play world to make sure that the issue is not somehow related to the server/system you are connecting to or latency issues.

If the clean run and solo play continue to crash, It could also be possible that your download was corrupted in some way, and is in steam's download cache, so it's not redownloading a new version and installing the same corruption into your game.

  • You can try redownloading the game after clearing out steam's download cache to make sure this isn't the issue.

Let me know if these solutions help or, if the issue persists, we can look at some other possibilities for the causes of your crashing.
