Hi, there's an issue where the body will remain if you put down an altar while the area hasn't resetted yet. You can just wait for the next update where we will have a fix for this, or remove the influence of the altar on the body's location by moving your altar out of the way for a while and letting the area reset. Just don't leave anything you may lose behind.
