long gone are the days where creators just put all saves in 1 location and use steam as a backup
im trying to get a PRW into my steam saves because apparently it doesnt read my HD when steam saves are on.

You could try starting the game without any internet connection. Play a little so there's a forced conflict between cloud and local files. Swap the files in the steam cloud folder with the ones you want and once Steam asks which files should be used (local or from cloud) you select local.
