Yes

sonic leaf
#

I am going to try your suggestions, thank you

heady crescent

Good luck

Meh, didn't work. Created a world and then replaced that world's saves with my friend's files. The wold just disappeared from my private worlds. List is blank now ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Turn off cloud syncs for the game while you set this up, and make sure you copy your friends files into your local save folder, not the remote one.

#

Steam > Library > Enshrouded > Properties > General > Then toggle steam cloud off

sonic leaf
#

By local, you mean C:\Users%username%\Saved Games\Enshrouded, right?

heady crescent
#

Yes

#

C:\Users\%username%\Saved Games\Enshrouded

sonic leaf
#

still no luck. Probably doing something wrong

heady crescent
#

Did you try to restart Steam completely?

sonic leaf
#

yes

heady crescent
#

Weird. If you have cloud saves disabled, the game should load the save files from your local folder, and if you have cloud saves enabled, it should load the saves from your remote folder.

#

Try restarting your system again and see what happens. It should work now.

sonic leaf
#

Can there be problem with save files?

heady crescent
#

Maybe? Did you download the 3ad85aea, 3ad85aea-index, 3ad85aea_info and 3ad85aea_info-index files from your friends server?

sonic leaf
#

yes

heady crescent
#

Ahh. You have to copy all of those files into your local save folder, because your index file points to one of the numbered save files.

#

In your case the -2 file

#

But copy all of them.

sonic leaf
#

trying it right now

heady crescent
#

Just copy everything, and overwrite everything, and it should work.

sonic leaf
#

It worked!!

#

Thank you so much

heady crescent
#

You're very welcome! Happy to help!

And remember, if you want to enable cloud saves again, copy everything from your local folder to your remote folder, and then turn cloud saves on again, after you have copied all the files.

Okay, thanks my friend
