Are you playing with Steam Cloud on?

If no, you just need to send me a .zip file of the Enshrouded folder in
C:\Users\<yourusername>\Saved Games\Enshrouded

If yes, could you please go to \Steam\userdata\ and in the files search for "3ad85aea"?
It will point you towards the folder with the save files for Enshrouded. Go to the folder and just dump everything there here
It should be in a folder called "remote".

once you find the folder with these files, just send me the whole folder, not just these files

for some reason i'm not finding either of those files. The only folder "characters" i find is from valheim
I'm searching my entire C: drive to see if i find any of those files

Did you search only in Saved Games?

Searching the C: drive could take a long while. Try searching only in your Steam folder.

Well, steam cloud saves usually go to the \Steam\userdata\ folder
