Hello everyone, ❤️

I hope you're all doing well! I have a small request to share with you and would appreciate your insightful opinions. We recently launched a private server among friends and, to our surprise, found ourselves with 11 players this morning. However, we've noticed that everyone can freely access chests, enter others' houses, and even extinguish our fires, creating a somewhat chaotic situation.

I don't want to shut down the server, but I am looking for solutions to make our gaming space more secure and enjoyable for everyone. I'm wondering if it's possible to develop specific scripts or mods for the game that would allow us to manage these aspects.

If you have any advice, resources, or starting points to suggest for embarking on this endeavor, I would be very grateful for your knowledge sharing.

Thank you in advance for your help and constructive responses.

I'm a bit confused, if the server has a password then random people wouldn't have been able to join it

The server is open to everyone because we thought that things had been developed for creating guilds or other security measures, but none of that (with all due respect) exists. There isn't even an in-game chat, which could be developed by the community, for example.

Ah, yeah I'm going to be honest this game is NOT intended for public servers. Its entire design is around co-op hence everything being shareable. Currently there's nothing we the community can make to add such tools

The most you can do if you want to get fancy is make a sudo whitelist using the firewall but that's getting a bit into the weeds
