I just made a new lens where you can explore northern lights by turning around like you are placed in a 360-degree image. Has anyone been able to do a 360-degree video to GIF and get it to work within lens studio size limits? I wanted to use GIF so that the northern lights would move in the lens as well, but I had to opt for a still image as my lens size was 20MB.

MP4 is usually smaller than a gif if you can get it to work with that, the problem is the actual dimensions for the video are pretty small
might need to try getting two mp4s in and stitching them together with a custom material or two half spheres
Yeah, the video's problem is that lens studio doesn't accept certain size above 1080p i think? So the video scaled to that size looks really bad
Hi, @scenic spindle There is a 360 Video Player asset on the Asset Library, where creator splits one video texture into two square textures for better quality
