Working on a lens utilizing Voice ML and when in app there is a message that says Tap to Turn On Voice Control. The user MUST tap on the screen, and then a yellow boundary appears and reactive visuals animate at the bottom when the user talks.

Is there a way to disable this, or auto-enable voice control? When I was forced into the Beta UI voice was auto-enabled and I thought this enabling function was gone forever, but it is back now that the Beta UI experiment is blessedly over.

Ideally we could do something to disable the instructional text and the yellow border. But if I had to choose it would be to get rid of the text. Perfect world is that neither would appear and it would automatically be enabled.

I believe the user must tap to consent having their audio sent to and processed by Snap, so unless that becomes part of the general terms of service I think that’s a hard requirement for privacy reasons.
