So, now that we've had a few days to look at and play with the early access, I feel it's time to officially start the discussion and idea pooling for categories people would like to see and would be interested in running. I'd like to see category ideas, rules thoughts, and other things specifically regarding the SRC shift to Early Access.

Yeah. I feel like full progression runs are going to be HEAVILY RNG dependent.

I think 100% runs are still possible. But I think we just need to allow using set loadouts. We could even have categories for specific weapons. Sure the armor makes dying rare, but most speedruns have no deaths, so the armor isn't that relevant. And since people can do free play with any weapon, it's hard to disallow it.
I did a 100% run and it was still very fun. No weapon RNG adds some skill expression too.
I think some speedruns for X gold is a bit arbitrary but could be fun for a meme run.
