#[Closed]LS lowering FPS despite working fine for months

I've been using LS for 6 months, never had issues. Starting 2 days ago, LS has drastically lowered my framerate. I will run a game at 90 fps, and then with LS on, LS will say my base is actually ~20, then say it outputs 165 fps despite the game now running at ~15 fps.

I have made sure all overlays are turned off (Steam, AMD, Discord), activated Windows because I was told that could cause issues, followed guides but nothing has worked. I haven't changed any settings in those 6 months so I'm not sure why it won't work.

I have a 6750XT, Ryzen 5 7600 and have 32 gb of ram. I've tested games that max out my gpu/cpu and games that don't, same issue.

video I saw said it would be better for games that have fluctuating framerate

The symptoms directly indicate an overlay issue. You can take your time to find out which program is causing it.

Even some recording software overlay over the game window...

You should start from minimal programs running, to find out ...

or much better if you can upgrade to win 11 24h2, which has WGC capture API which solves most of the overlay issues
