Can you describe the artifacts? I play FS2020 at 22x5 2880p and I cannot complain, I mostly do low-level flights at 170kts max without rapid movement and I don't notice any artifacts, just when I pan the cockpit view I notice them a bit around the cockpit frame.

Uuuh... look, base fps of 30 are recommended for X2 framegen. Why is that the value recommended? to avoid the thing that you experience, janky visuals and artifacts.
And here you are using base fps of 25 with x5 framegen.
a combination of lower base fps than recommended and higher multiplier than recommended of said framerate.
I mean, It's on you at this point isn't it? not the software, I would highly recommend either just using x2 (which yes, you would only get 50 fps that way), or higher base fps.
