Occurs on Yuzu, the game hangs and doesn't resume like a normal stutter would, it stays that way until I manually press the hotkey twice to unscale and rescale
The game is still running during the hang though, since when I press movement keys and alt tab, i can see the character has changed his position.
I have a hunch that it could be I think that there is simply too much RAM being used.
Yuzu is extremely intensive in terms of ram, with a 4GB baseline to emulate switch DRAM with the added gigabytes the game uses.
On an 8 gig system without using FG, ram usage is 7.6 gb/8gb
Pressing scale ups that by a margin, about 7.75. The 250 megabytes left is probably reserved for windows, or something.
In process manager, I can see that Yuzu uses 9 gigabytes of ram, which is physical AND the pagefile ram
What could be happening here is that LSFG has to tap into the page file for it's ram usage, since I use an iGPU for FG, dGPU for rendering.
Doesn't happen at all with 2.3 though.
The hang ups, I meant. Yuzu is still a b*tch for ram usage though.
