Greetings Support team, I'd like if possible an ELI5 explanation of the scaling factor text box, and how I can fidget with it. I have a 27" 1080p monitor and a 1080 Ti GPU
If I understood it correctly, "1" would be native, so if I set my game to 720, enable "Resize before scaling" then LS will give me a 1080p image that is only working with information from a 720p image. What does adding decimals do to the factor? Say 1.15. Does that mean that I will be seeing an image comprised of 1280x720p plus 15%? Does that mean LS can do supersampling if I set my game to 1080p and add a scaling factor > 1? I also noticed LS does not permit values < 1, so I imagine Downscaling is impossible. (Does downscaling even matter as a feature anywhere?)
I also would like to know what the "Performance" button does at all when I enable frame generation. HWMonitor doesn't reveal me anything when I check temperatures on my components, so I cannot draw my own conclusions when it's On/Off
Cheers
