Issue : playing emulator game tearing and stutter alot on 144hz monitor

So the strange things about this when i lower the monitor refresh rate into 60hz the game went smoothly into 60/60 but when i turn the refresh rate higher into 144hz the game only reach 60/144 even when i m using X3 LSFG and the game stutter alot

2.9 caps at your monitor's refresh rate. what emulator is this with?

duckstation and pcsx2

the problem only exist when i m play the emulator game

non emulator games are fine

emulators typically duplicate frames. duckstation received a new update to get rid of duplicate frames and pcsx2 has had it for a while

i m started abit worry that my 144hz will become useless xDD

just remember when running 3x lsfg with games that run at an fps higher than a 1/3 of your monitor's hz will still show something like 60/144 and 2x lsfg games higher than 1/2 your monitor's hz might show like 90/144

it's best to cap those games properly. just never cap any emulator's fps

if the game only support 30fps

i m just bump the x3
