#Woodchipper For Dead Bunnies

An object on a floor that allows the Hunter to throw a prop (dead) bunny into it, making a horrific grinding and screeching noise. The input for dead bunnies would be at an angle to allow for dead bunnies thrown from upper floors to make it in.

Any bunny within the same wing (unlimited verticality) will gain madness over time for a brief period ~10 seconds 1 minute-long (or longer). (Credit to Lasinn Vargr for this addition). Adding up to 1 madness bar.

Also the idea of having a bunny gain 1/2 a bar total (from standing) but twice the madness while they're playing dead, but this might be unnecessary.

Any items within the chipped bunny are output onto the floor (making a massive loot pile for bunnies to look through over time), unless they are items used in crafting, in which case they are given to the magician after the match.

I think this would fit the game well enough, and allow for some very nerve-wracking moments for bunnies. Oh, and it wouldn't work for any live bunnies that still have charge.

very metal. I like this, makes madness actually have an impact. It WOULD need to have like a 1 to five minute cooldown tho, else it could be very spammable

Very true, or could make it so the effect takes longer, I'm not picky

one minute of agonizing wood chipper induced screams that makes your sanity go up if you stay in the floor would go so hard I swear...

I thought about it a little more, maybe it could be on a tall stand around 2nd floor height, so that you can throw a dead bunny up from the first floor, and down from the 3rd/4th.

the issue i see with this is madness right now makes it so a bunny attacks friends for a minute and highlights that bunny for the hunter so making a thing that fully makes all bunnies mad is dangerous also there's the issue on the hunter just putting bunny props in the chipper to get rid of the play dead mechanic

Ah, to go over these points:

"making a thing that fully makes all bunnies mad is dangerous"

The numbers may need tweaking, true, but if the wing is being affected by the woodchipper over-time madness effect, you could just head into a different room or use a cuddle bunny to undo the madness. If all wings are affected by this and you cannot afford to take any more madness, you could hide out in the filler wing looting for a leftover cuddle bunny.

"the hunter just putting bunny props in the chipper to get rid of the play dead mechanic"

I would imagine that you cannot put in another dead bunny while there's already the effect happening, so you would need to wait 1 minute for every bunny per every room, bunnies can make a lot of progress in just a few minutes, and there will be ~10 dead bunnies per room (maybe slightly less) I believe. Also, it would hardly be different from chucking prop bunnies down a floor.

Rereading your message, you seem more worried about the idea of multiple bunnies in one room gaining madness at one time.

I believe this is currently the case with bunnies having the magician within LOS, and I would think it's fitting to have a way for the magician to put pressure on bunnies staying inside one wing for an extended period of time. Especially considering two bunnies can team up inside one room (think of center 2nd floor) and get out within the time it takes to power a striker

itll make cuddlebun not only useful but neccasary and usually it can take more than 10 seconds to get out of a room and would force all bunnies in that room to make a mad dash and hope the killer either doesnt choose them to take out or that they dont go mad in which case the killer can get multiple gears out of someone especially if they throw them deeper into the room
it needs a lot of balancing, but it is a neat idea

yeah if it was 1 min its somewhat manageable but you said 10 seconds as the timeframe so i was going off of that
