Name: Circus Lock Boxes
Type: Post-Match Reward & Incentive Mechanic
Effect: Any keys held by the Magician at the end of the match turn into Circus Lock Boxes, which can be opened to reveal random items or recipes
Purpose: Encourages the Magician to steal and hoard keys instead of just eliminating bunnies, adding an extra layer of strategy to key denial.

  • Fair reward system – The Magician must actively steal and hold keys to benefit.
  • Does not affect in-game balance, as rewards are post-match incentives rather than instant advantages.
  • Encourages skill-based play, since stealing keys mid-match is a strategic choice.
  • Does not punish bunnies unfairly, since keys can still be used normally

Potential additional enhancements to the system:

  • Jackpot Box: A rare lock box that grants multiple rewards instead of one.
  • Trade-In System: Players can exchange multiple low-tier boxes for higher-tier ones.
  • Candy Conversion: Exchange candy to get lock boxes as well

This system could also theoretically be extended to the bunnies too, where I believe they can escape with up to 3 keys
(One in inventory, one in back, one in hand)

Why not make it by escaping?

Either by the % of Charge (multiple Boxes possible)
or
one time Escape ( 1 box)
or
Streak for escaping (multiple boxes possible)

that could work too. Also this system could be nice as a daily challenge reward (Circus lock box as the rewards, potentially multiple depending on the challenge)
