Currently the game can made everyone selfish for few reasons:

  • Most mechanisms you can do alone or they are one-time use - even if you open the gate, Magician can close it.
  • Coming down for caged bunnies - Because of fall damage you need to lose gear in order to help someone and of course lose your progress
  • Materials ministars3 - In order to get them you need to escape. Reason to speedrun with everything you have in your pockets so you don't get caught.
  • Opening the cage because of no anti-camp mechanic at the moment may lead you to be caged till the end of the game. You can escape but in order to losing charges so if you have low - you just can't. Even if you manage you can get caugh again because of Impostor for example.

And it can be reason why people are so fast on next floors, where others can be still on 1st. I think game need more two-player mechanics like double-railway where bunnies need to do two at same time. Maybe some trapese, so someone can get you up by pulling? Ignoring fall damage when not caused by magician or an item for it - or special places like huge pillows. Maybe another way to get materials? To left it in some mechanism on 1st floor? Maybe nice item for uncaged someone?

There is many things that can be done - just need to consider which would be the better for people to cooperate more.

I know they are different games but look at DBD: 5 generators to be done, 4 players to do it. When someone get killed you have less and less people to do it.
Meanwhile in CH you don't need others to do anything. You can do everything yourself cause it may even be faster that way

This! so i feel like there's a huge gap between CH and DBD and the way the progression works because at the end of the day although it seems like a co-op it can easily turn otherwise. The only true time you need someone is for a charge OR when you have to make an action that requires 2 at a time, i.e. the cannon
