Hi. I am looking for 2 regions, which are not marked as discoverables, but they provide individual science points. If you know the place of those regions, please share with me, via PN, since i searched much of Vall's surface but still can'T find them. I am aware that is shall be a challeng for us players to find the 2 regions, but even AI chat hints that if one has any struggle, we shall aks the community, this is why after i also found the regions, i will think of a good "hint but non point" system, to also provide tipps for later community recommendations, inculding capable crafts and such. i tried rovers and many flyovers, also on low altitude. please provide more detailed hints for me, on Vall we are all one house, right? 😄

A good way to discover regions "legit" ingame would be to use the orbital survey mod. once you map a celestial body it will show you where all the different regions are

Well sure, i still can redo all the science and readout the report texts again, but nevertheless, asking the community is legit and senseful for a spaceexploration 🙋

to find krakens lair and valltor it is best to bring an orbital labor?

ChatGPT
Bringing an orbital lab or probe is indeed an excellent approach [...]:

Why Bring an Orbital Lab or Probe?
High-Resolution Scanning: Orbital labs and advanced probes are equipped with high-resolution scanning equipment, which can help identify unusual terrain features and pinpoint exact coordinates.
Data Collection: These devices can collect valuable scientific data and map out the surface, making it easier [...].
Navigation Aid: They provide a bird’s-eye view of the terrain, helping you navigate and plan your landing approach more accurately. [...].

Launch your spacecraft [...] which will allow you to scan the entire surface over time.
Surface Scanning:

Use the scanning equipment to map Vall’s surface.
Focus on the coordinates provided [...].
Analyze Scans:

Look for distinctive terrain features that match descriptions from the community and official sources.
Identify potential landing sites based on the scanned data.
[...]

Once you have identified potential locations, plan and execute landing missions.
Use rovers or landers [...] for a closer examination.:

Tips for Success
Mods: Consider using mods like SCANsat, which provides more detailed scanning capabilities and better mapping tools.
Community Input: Engage with the KSP community on forums and Discord for the latest discoveries and tips.

Multiple Missions: Be prepared to conduct multiple missions to verify locations and gather comprehensive data.

You see: AI sometimes confuses with weird things, for example KSP 2 mods doesn't know SCANsat, since our mod is called Orbital survey, and SPACEDOCK doesn't know anything else. Also the hight the OS scanner needs is waay too high (400kms). And the coordinates ChatGPT provides differ, also i doubt them in the meantime, since i did a lot of exploring around them with no good result in terms of finding the regions. I DID find some very interesting scenes, doe 😄 (by the way, did i mention that orbital survey doesnt spellout those 2 regions, even after scan? It identifies highland, lowland, well & mountains, per default... and im not familiar with manipulationg mods, neigther ingame nor outgame).

Besides i really want to encourage teamwork, in general, in KSP 2. Sure discord is public, and sometimes one may stumble on a spoiler. This image is not from the 2 significant regions, but it is interesting to understand the body of Vall. - Let's understand the body of helping out, too. I don't want to get disclosed from this community. Have a look:

statsitic on how much was written about the valltor and the krakens lair in the last 7 days?

It seems like I can’t do more advanced data analysis right now. Please try again later.

For finding Kraken's Lair and Valltor, the most reliable approach is to refer to community-driven resources like the Kerbal Space Program subreddit or the official forums. These platforms are regularly updated with new discoveries and coordinates shared by fellow players.

Conclusion
The regions you are exploring may be in various stages of implementation. The differences in terrain and stone types suggest these areas are designed to be special and are likely intended to be part of the game's evolving lore and exploration features. Keep an eye on community updates, official patch notes, and forum discussions for the latest information on these regions.

Recommendations
Community Resources: Engage with the KSP community on forums and Reddit for the latest findings and discussions. Other players often share their discoveries and may have more precise coordinates or screenshots.
Official Updates: Watch for official updates or patch notes from the developers, which may provide more details on these regions’ implementations.
Exploration: Continue exploring these coordinates and documenting your findings. Sharing your discoveries with the community can help others and may lead to new insights.
For now, these regions may serve as an exciting mystery and a goal for dedicated explorers in KSP 2.

This is areas i researched. partially with strong drone & survey scanner attached, partially with weak drone or rover with only science jr attached. (map slightly modified). i also did full orvital flights around the whole body from ~16kms and videotaped just in case i can find a green blink of the erlenmayers sciency glas on the left. just in case someone doubts that i already put efforts 😉
