Hey guys, so the ability to check CoM with a dry craft is important at times, so I thought why not have a "dry" switch in the VAB UI to drain all consumable liquids at once? Would be quite a QoL improvement! Icon could be a big droplet that's either bright teal or dark orange.

And while we're at it: why not also add the ability to pick a dry tank from the library by for example holding Shift? Same with copy and paste. Alt + Shift => make a dry copy.

Just some thoughts, let me know what you think!

PS. I thought some more about it and maybe another (long term) solution is to have a new mode in the VAB. The consumables mode™. Clicking on it would change the appearance of all parts and make them essentially transparent while highlighting their contents. So you'd see fuel inside a fuel tank. Now when you click on the part it highlights and shows gizmos to manipulate the fuel levels. Super intuitive! And of course, when you highlight multiple parts by holding shift or press Ctrl+A for everything, you can control the levels of multiple consumables at once.

PPS. The calculate_CoM() function should also trigger when you manipulate consumable levels. Right now it doesn't and you have to re-enable CoM view in order to get the correct value. Bug?

Along the same lines, a slider than moves through the staging showing not just which parts stage when, but also changes in CoM throughout would be cool. Super useful for checking fuel flow and balancing planes.

That looks great, well done! It wouldn’t make too much changes but would be nice to have this feature!
