#Simple saving names

I don't understand the vehicle and workspace name things. I would have thought the workspace was a "Folder" and vehicle was the unique name, so perhaps you'd have workspace, vehicle:
Small laythe fighter, v1, v2, v3

But that doesnt seem to be the case and so it's super confusing. So to me the 2 names for 1 craft and not even having folders is confusing and annoying. Instead can you just let me save "mun lander 1.3" without any headache??

Also the icon images for the saves are horrible quality. Why???

Jap I was thinking that I could somehow, if there are multiple vehicles in a workspace, mark one as main and the others as sub assemblies. This would allow me to name them all and in case of merging I could select all the vehicles I want to import into my new Workspace.

But somehow the workspace and the crafts got 2 names which I always copy paste to the other field to keep them in sync ... 😄

So this is an extra step for me without any benefit

I think even having the workspace as a folder and crafts within that folder would be helpful as far as the organization is concerned. ALSO, having to retype everything when saving it makes it more clunky to use.
I feel like the system will really come into itself when we have larger ships that we are building in orbit, so we can quickly and easily swap out payloads that are built for that specific craft.

that would be reasonable, but... atm nothing is reasonable in the game. I thought the same, but it is just 2 different naming conventions used in different load situations which makes it even more confusing.

May I quote a former colleage? "Before we had a well running aged Beetle. Now we got a Rolls Royce without wheels!"

Its a bit worrying this one. It should have been such a simple decision to make, folders and files. Its pretty much tried and tested isn't it? What made them decide to change how file/folders are structures.
Its very confusing, and I hope they get rid of it and return to just using folders.
