change joint rigidity to something very high (default is 1500.0)

There's probably a good reason its set that low tbh

Not really, have been playing a lot with a higher value (around 5000) so that structural integrity is still a topic to consider. Until now it has straight up been an improvement in every way.

@rustic swift Kerbal is not IS NOT a real space simulator, than base game have, also in the original KSP 1, "wobbling things", have u used the Strut Connector part to avoid "wobbling rockets"? I think no.
Change the Joint Rigidity parameter is just an easy way to avoid the Strut connectors displacement on your rockets.
Than "Do you thinks that a simple youtuber find a way to reduce the wobbling instead of the dev ?" is a bad evaluation of the real situation.
Struts connector part is equivalent (a synthesis) of tie rods and stings, than just learn how to use it in game if you want to avoid wobbling without "modded" parameters.
Easy way or Creative way?
Look at the pic, no wobbling with a right Strut connector placement.
Like in the real world, struts must be made rigid with the rods and strings 👍 .
Let's not give judgments.

Strut connectors...what else?

#

Joint reinforcement is an Hystorical mod for KSP, no news here.

also I found IMO increasing the joint strength by the edit has a chance to bring the kraken out because the parts try to wiggle, but since they can't flex, the errors compound until you get something way worse than a bit of flexing

#

Especially on quad/externally mounted radial boosters, but still the joint config edit makes things a lot nicer when it behaves, so I can kinda see why they may have left it this low, but there should be a inbetween where things don't wiggle, and there's no surprise kraken in the future 🤷‍♂️

Doesn't more parts mean less FPS? Why wouldn't this be a good fix until they put auto struts in?
