Does your time warp go past the point you select to time warp to?
Mine does and its annoying.

No. When it gets to it's destination, it turns into a cloud of smoke and vanishes. Then, the mission status screen appears saying it failed.

I'm disappointed with what early access has to offer, I understand it is not the full game but damn there is so many things wrong.
