As an example: If you right click on a part of your craft it will open the parts manager, I think you should be able to right click off of the parts manager to close it, instead of having to hunt down the X in the top right.

agreed the UI is to big, to old and doesnt fit the style of the game and its been dumbed down to something that doesnt even work right anymore
