This is kind of an odd one, but when KSP2 is running, all the backlighting on my Logitech G710+ keyboard gets disabled. Pressing the switches to activate the lights enables them very briefly then they shut off again.

Update: had something to do with the Logitech Software that allows certain games to control keyboard illumination. The KSP2 interface code is busted and constantly told backlight to disable regardless of settings saying otherwise. Disabling the ability for any games to control backlight resolved the issue.

Similar issue with my G502 mouse. Funny thing while launching it activated on time and switched to different colours with staging.

I have a G502 also but had no issues with it at all, very strange

KSP 2 has some light effect. But they don't always work. It would be great if it has some settings in game.

After some further testing, it looks like certain keys are lit for phases of flight. However, not ALL the keys you need are prelit, and there is no config integration. For instance, M,,,. are dark when flying which makes it very hard to navigate between burns.
I have disabled the integration for now, but I can see how it might be nice with further dev effort
