RTX 3060 performance question

I have an RTX 3060 and before buying the game i want to know what FPS are you guys getting with a 3060 or similar, mention your graphics quality preset too.

right now with my brand new 3060 i can run a good 24 fps on max settings while looking down on a taxing craft (please keep in mind i am using a ultra wide monitor running at 1440p

1440p kind of takes a toll on fps

I'm running the game nicely at medium graphics with a 2060

3060 here and i'm getting mid 20s fps on basic crafts at 1080p with high graphics

I will experience frame stutter in various scenarios, but I’m able to play on max settings at 1080p very enjoyably on my 3060

I can definitely tell frames are low, but it’s not jarring enough for me to care

i got a 3070 and i have no issues

3060 ti on high settingsand I'm getting 40 fps everywhere, very high frames in vab but only 20 on the runway

yea i have similar performance

bought the game yesterday

80 fps vab high preset

around 40 to 60 in space

but im kind of confused now since i checked task manager and i saw that it wasnt using 100% of my gpu

it was using around 60% and my cpu was at like 40%

so why wont it use the max

for better frames

is this at 1080 or 1440 because im getting around 20 in space at 1440 with a 3060ti

3060ti at 1440p. I’m getting about 50-55 frames during flight in space, sometimes that drops down while in flight on kerbin. Haven’t tested other celestial bodies yet other than the mun, which runs well.

What are your other specs? Could you be getting bottlenecked by something else?

We basically have comparable specs, 32gigs ram, i7 12th gen, so this is definitely a mystery why you’re not getting more frames. Do you have anti aliasing turned off?

Having anti aliasing on destroyed my frames. When I turned it on, I had only around 5-20 even in flight in space.

It could be any number of things, from unseen bottlenecking, to the game just running inconsistently across the board.

Only other things I can think of off the top of my head would be make sure you’re playing windowed borderless, toggle around vsync, and maybe check to make sure your monitor is set to its maximum Hz
