Nope, the banning thing might not be the case but it is obvious that it cannot reach an endpoint in the "Loading Roster Data" step

as a developer, my first assumption was that some regions could not access an endpoint but that might not be regional. 300 seconds seems like a default timeout duration for a curl request in some .net libraries

I just tried to run it with safe boot on windows 11. My problem was champaign loading. Stucked at first loading of the game with safe boot on.

The Global folder you mean? So you had to go to graphics everytime and set them to low before trying? And did you play in fullscreen or borderless?

The global folder, though I deleted everything in the folder it is in (player.log etc.), just to be sure

wow my FPS levels are actually similar to my KSP1 (visual mods: parallax 2 + astronomer's visual pack) ones! I did not expect a surviveable performance.

I restarted my PC and it worked fine, but then I tried to do the training videos and got the same issue

Yeah, though I will say based on what I've seen I think the game shouldve waited a bit longer before early access (or at the very least not be 50 dollars out of the gate) - people forget a lot that when you purchase a game you purchase the abiility to play it at that time - I paid 50 dollars to be able to play the game now instead of potentially paying 20 to play it in 5 years

Not that this is an acceptable solution...Deleting my campaign and starting a new one seemed to get me to load in again. (Before deleting my campaign I was not able to start a new one, it hung at the same place in loading).

No fix to the Pumping Sim Once issue. It is a known bug. The Devs have mentioned that the Pumping Sim Once done Freezing/Crashing does not appear to be spec related. They are still working. Be patient!

Depends on your GPU i think, best to just google it. I had to use GeForce experience to update my nvidia GPU, and now i’m checking whether my integrated card has updates available somewhere too

for a good number of folks this worked...

-Update your graphics card on the manufacturers website. Very likely windows wont give you the most update to date driver
-Restart your computer after installed
-Go tp C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program 2 and run the exe as administrator (right click the file)

This fixed a number of folks problems. I would also note that many folks have done a fresh reinstall in the last hour if you are deleting and folders manually to get stuff to work. so you might consider that too.

No fix to the Pumping Sim Once issue. It is a known bug. The Devs have mentioned that the Pumping Sim Once done Freezing/Crashing does not appear to be spec related. They are still working. Be patient!

it is eiiitherrr: MonoBleedingEdge file, or UnityPlayer.dll - delete those, then try to launch the game. If game doesn't launch, verify game files. this is just theory. verifying game files will fix it if it doesnt work.

now i started reading and was about to do DXreinstall and Visual C++

BUT

i decided to turn off background startup services and reboot first

so it IS something to do with Microsoft boot/start up services that is conflicting

its NOT spec related but we knew that already

my advice is to turn off non microsoft related start up services through MSconfig

go to your msconfig by typing MSconfig in search bar

then go to services tab

tick hide all microsoft services
