Hi, I have a question regarding the used ip addresses for calling the webhook. I heard from a client that Mollie no longer give a list of known ip addresses from which a webhook can be called when communicating to api.mollie.com. Is this policy changed? Is there a reason why? My healthcare clients will reject Mollie if so.

Hi there!

No, this policy has not changed. As our systems continue to evolve, the IP addresses used by our webhook systems will likely change over time. If you have a fixed list of allowed IP addresses on your end, this means that sooner or later you will start missing out on our webhooks.

We are currently, internally, testing a new webhook system which will give more freedom, but for now our current webhooks system does only send an ID, which makes the risk almost zero. 🙂

The risk is low indeed, but those healthcare clients don’t want to open an endpoint for all traffic.

Any particular reason for that?
