Thank you page

When going from a test to live environment, mollie redirects to their own thank you page instead of the redirect url provided via the API. In the test environment the redirect works. The paymnet is an iDEAL payment via QR code.

The documentation states:

"Note that after the payment, the customer will also be redirected to the redirectUrl on the mobile device for some payment methods (such as iDEAL). For Bancontact, a special thank you page is shown on the mobile device."

It seems that in my case the customer is redirected to the special thank you page of Mollie instead of our redirectUrl

Hi Jacob, just to be sure. Do you mean that the mobile phone is not redirected to the redirectUrl or the browser with where the payment is started?

Hi Rick, mobile phone is not redirected to the redirectUrl. The browser where the payments starts will never redirect as expected.

Yes, thats as expected. The phone will get a static Mollie page with the confirmation and the message that the page can be closed.

Ok, maybe you should change the documentation in that case, because in the documentation it is stated different (see my previous message). Is there any option to go to the redirect page instead?

Just to mention, testing with a test API key does redirect to the redirectUrl. It’s only when using a live API key that the mobile device gets redirected to the static mollie page.

I can bring it up at the product team, but, to be really honest, I won't expect it to be added soon or at all.
