Some of our Belgium merchants have customers that try to pay with It's me.

It happens on a couple of occasions that the app of "its me" apparently says the payment is succesfull; while Mollie returns an expire. As we only act upon the webhook the order-process is fine. But the customer is left in the assumption they have paid, while that isn't the case.

I (as a Dutchy) am not familiar with this "Its me"-thing and was wondering if someone here has more experience with this 'flow'.

This is the id from one of these its me transactions: tr_ZqSuVqQnhv

Hi Richard! That is a strange case indeed. Mollie doesn't offer "it's me" as a payment method. I checked the merchant's checkout and it doesn't pop-up as an option so no possibility to recreate. In the backend this tr looks like an expired Bancontact payment. Is there anyway to recreate the scenario and share a screen recording with us?

Retracting my earlier statement after looking more into what "it's me" is! I am going to ask our Belgium colleagues for additional info and get back to you.

Hi Richard! We have a digital identity wallet named ItsMe in Belgium. Customers can use this to 'authorise' a payment via his/her bank when performing a high amount payment, but ItsMe is not a payment method itself. I suspect the authorisation was successful, but the bank itself didn't approve the payment.

We, Mollie, have no integration with ItsMe. It is the bank that uses this service to serve payment authorisations. I suspect the consumer must contact his bank to know why this payment (tr_ZqSuVqQnhv) wasn't authorised. We received 2 times a timeout on tis payment.
