If you play solo with bots you may know the struggle of having to order bots one order at a time. This means that it takes a while to get a bot to change what they're doing. In multiplayer you can make it through the game in complete chaos but in solo if you do not setup your bots its going to be a hard time. The solution is to have a lot of bots and be ready for every possible situation but thats usually way more than the submarine's optimal capacity. So... What if you could save all crew orders as presets and cycle between them?
It would make the solo rp much more immersive. Example: You give all your crew their normal orders and then you save it as a global preset. Then you change the orders and set that as the second preset, and so on. When theres a bomb situation on an outpost you want all your crew to return to submarine ASAP. When you want to take half of your crew with you outside of the sub. When there's an enemy submarine and everyone has 10 seconds to get their suits on.

Either this or something like mass orders

Like “Man all guns” and the people with the top weapons skill would hop onto the ship’s guns, or an “emergency repairs” where everyone with a welder or close to a leak would go to fix the leak in question

I actually had this idea a loooong time ago. I forgot what happened to my suggestion. So I'm still for this

I love it, you could actually use codes. Maybe the presets can be called codes like code red, blue, green, black, etc.
