#If we were to split the workshop tag: "Item" into multiple tags, what would they be.

What qualifies as an item in your opinion? Would splitting them into these two categories be enough?
- Equipment (items players can carry on themselves)
- Submarine part (devices, shell pieces, wiring components, decorative items)
I was originally thinking handheld items but yeah there are submarine parts too
I do worry people will tag that for custom subs with no actual custom items though
They might. The only way to reduce the amount of misused tags would be to explain what they're supposed to mean in game, somehow. Maybe through a little description box which pops up when hovering over a tag in the publishing window.

I consider submarines the biggest offendor:
Which I'm thinking should be split into:
Submarine, Outpost, Beacons, Wrecks, Ruin, Outpost Deathmatch
Maybe Beacons/Wrecks/Ruin could be combined, but thats a big word at that point
Maybe instead of Outpost Deathmatch have a broader PvP tag. So if you're looking for PvP outposts specifically, check both the PvP and the Outpost tags at once.

Equipment, Submarine Part would cover the items, though these could be misused with the names being a little ambiguous.
Submarine is its own thing, we all know what those are.
Outpost, Beacon, Wreck, Ruin would be offshoots of the current Environment tag. With Environment still being usable for all of them, and more. (Like biome and cave mods.)
PvP could be used in combination with outposts, submarines, maybe even beacons, to mark locations built for PvP fights.
I still feel like the items tag hasn't really been made any easier to navigate tbh

The rest would be a bunch of random stuff like diving equipment, clowning equipment... Not sure how to name all of that together and if it needs to be named.

Maybe Equipment, Weapons, and Medical could all coexist.

Equipment would technically be applicable to all of it, but then you'd at least have Weapons and Medical as extra tags to describe your mod with more precision.

Equipment
Medical
To me Equipment is any item the player can use.
Which, yea, I think the sub editor tab generally reflects that.
Though it might exclude some stuff I'd personally classify as equipment. Medical items have their own category in the editor.

The current tags on the workshop are very limiting and barely help to sort mods. I would assume adding new tags isn't super difficult so I'd like to suggest we do that. First off, one of, i...
