I’m not really sure where this should go in this server, but I guess I’ll post it here and hopefully get some help. There really is no way to adequately “Tl;dr” this, but I’ll try to leave it to one paragraph.
Rasheem Carter, A young black man, went missing not far from where I live here in Mississippi back in October of last year. The last he was heard from he text his mother that a group of white men were chasing him and trying to kill him. He’d also filed two separate police reports fearing for his life with the Taylorsville Police Department prior to his disappearance. His remains were later found in a wooded area of Smith County and despite the fact his head had been severed from his body, the Smith County Sheriff said “there’s no reason to suspect foul play”. No, I’m not making that up. His family is still pleading for the FBI to come down here but as of today (9 months later) the FBI still hasn’t gotten involved. I guess I’m posting this here with the idea that maybe MrBallen or someone could bring more national attention to this somehow to maybe get the ball rolling in some direction other than nowhere.
