I had sleep paralysis when I was 18-19 living with my ex. after he left for work in the morning, I fell back asleep & later woke up to see an old hag swamp woman. She wasn't standing, she was floating right below the ceiling. She just stared at me from across the room. I would get so panicked bc I couldn't scream or move. I would just dart my eyes around wildly until I could pull myself out

I asked my ex in if this ever happened to him. he said thats normal for him but he didn't see an old woman, he saw a young one creep up next to the bed & lunge at him. But he said it wasn't that often

This was happening to me almost every morning for 4 years. I researched it & tried to change my diet, sleep schedule, alcohol intake, tv before bed, etc. nothing even made a slight difference. I was so scared to go to sleep bc I didn't want to wake up to someone

It was mostly this old hag & she kept her distance, just stared. Eventually she started trying to talk to me (but me being a horror fan, know that you don't speak to entities) so I would try to drown her out "LALALA"
She got mad, stopped appearing. Instead I saw a man silhouette; I felt a person hovering over me but didn't see anything, somehow astrally reached my arm up, got it frozen in mid air. I was touching the nape of someone's neck. still couldn't physically see him but in my minds eye he was a young black guy (maybe 17) and he felt like he was just curiously observing but got spooked when I touched him. It spooked me too tbh. I also saw one that looked like my ex. I would think it was him but this thing would lunge at me. Id wake up & he wasn't even home

Eventually the old hag came back & I just gave into listening. It was in a different language but I understood perfectly. I snapped out of it & could not for the life of me remember what she said. She never appeared again. I feel like it was a warning tho

soon after I broke up with my ex, moved away & never had sleep paralysis again

That's not true. I had sleep paralysis one time since then. But it wasn't full blown. It was just the eery feeling of it and the events that followed:

Was years later. I woke up and told me ex fiance that there was someone in his son's room. He shrugged me off, we were both groggy it was like 2 am. We fell back asleep. Minutes later his son is in our room dazed and confused and stared crying. Like sleep walking?
We both looked right at each other bc I literally just thought someone was in there but it was eerie and sleep brained.

Weird stuff. Idk how to explain.

That's the only other time it's kind of happened
