So, my family and I lived in a haunted apartment from 2007 until 2015 (when my parents got divorced and went separate ways). It used to be my great-aunt's apartment until she passed. When we were emptying the apartment, about to move in, we started finding weird stuff hidden in different places. Small bags with stones, hair and pieces of nails, most of them in the room that ended up being my sister and I's. We just threw it away and didn't think much of it. My family is Christian and we don't particularly believe in witchcraft. What I do believe now, is that negative energy can attract negative things.

Through the years we lived there (if you are wondering, my family never had much money so there was no possibility of moving) we experienced several paranormal things but never really talked about it with eachother because we didn't want to scare one another. One of the scariest things that happened to me was the following: that day my mom went out for groceries while I stayed studying in my room. After some time I heard footsteps going to the living room, and the TV turning on. It bothered me so I went and had a peek to see if my mom was there or if she just left the TV on and I could turn it off. I saw she was there, so I went back to my room. After some time, the TV went off.

Eventually, my mom arrived. I asked her where she had gone the second time, and she told me she didn't knew what I was talking about: she hadn't come back until then. I immediately turned pale, because I saw a woman in front of the TV, and I heard those footsteps. I knew there had been someone there.

That would truly freak me out...I've never been 1 for ghosts and goals, but I have to admit there are alot of things very difficult to explain... Mr ballen has really given me so many things to think about the past few years and I think for the better! Just opening your mind to things people have experienced and not dismissing things on fave value

I know there are things difficult to believe in unless you go through it an experience it yourself. As I said, so many things happened in that apartment but that was the experience that stuck with me the most because there was no way for me to deny what I saw. The other things I felt, heard or whatever, I could maybe make up excuses to calm myself down and feel better. But there was no way to explain that woman watching TV. Or even the TV turning on and off.
