When i was 5 still living in south africa 2 men broke into our home and held us at gunpoint. they took alot from us and they were never caught.

Many people feel scared after something like that. They have a hard time feeling safe again because it is a violation of their home. Their safe place. I had some people try to do that to me and my family a year ago. They were about to force their way into my back door. Fortunately, I have surveillance cameras and wifi to my phone app that alerted me. My wife called police, I told her to lock the door behind me as I went outside the front door and engaged them at gun point. After an exchange of gunfire it was over. I’m a veteran and fine, but my wife still has anxieties over it.
