Im new to shorebird, i understand that shorebird release is the version to distribute, but then i dont understand how the patches works, if i try to shorebird release 1.0.1 (previously 1.0.0), and patch 1.0.1, will the user using 1.0.0 get notify there is new update and able to update their app into 1.0.1?

Let us know if that doesn't help. We try to explain what patches and releases are there

i had shorebird release version 1.0.0, after that i change the app version to 1.0.1 in pubspec.yaml and shorebird patch to version 1.0.0, it does detect there is new update and download using shorebird_code_push: ^1.1.4, i restarted the app and the version remain 1.0.0. Isnt it should be updated to 1.0.1?
