Discuss how this normal card would be placed into the tier list! Assuming how easily it can be used in general or placed into a deck. Factors which contribute to this include offense, (poking/piercing, flanking, winning clashes, good special tile placement so you can easily special attack from it later) defense, (blocking, establishing routes, map control/occupying space, good normal/special tile placement so it isn't easily special attacked over later) openings, (meaning its played on the 1st turn) special building, (combo ability, how easy is it to activate the card's special point) special attacks, (this can be considered for all aspects of the match which is early/mid/endgame) its ability to be played at any time, (wont be a brick/unusable past a specific point) and finally the niche situations that it would be usable in if thats applicable. Which is described in the voting channel. (Note that every map is considered in discussions except for Box Seats)

very nice card. simple to work with and fits in a lot of spots. I used it a ton when I was newer. not tippy top tier but definitely up there.
ballpoint my beloved
- can poke, but not well. same with piercing.
- not too good at flanking.
• it's a 10, so whether it wins a clash depends on when it's played. the earlier in the game, the more likely it is to win.
-
phenominal special placement for special attacking, especially when played closer to a chunk of the enemys space. i guess that goes for all cards, though.
-
would not reccomend using this to block, but it can do it.
-
the left end can establish routes well.
-
amazing at taking up space; 3x5, but only 10 spaces, 9 of those spaces are two-wide, with one bit jutting out. this outcrop can be both good and bad. it works better in decks with curves but not diagonals. i don't think that takes away from the card.
• with where the special tile is, it can block some 3-12s from taking the majority of the card, but not all 3-12s. -
amazing at comboing and getting specials. not many combos on paper, especially not wall dependent ones, but in practice? one of its greatest strenghts.
-
the shape lends it well to being a special attack.. though i don't get why you would lol. anyways, the condensed end and the thinner end let it either get in or weave around special blocks. probably, haven't used it as a special attack.
-
doesn't brick easily
8/10. main weakness is it isn't as good at offense than it is at defense.
actually. 9/10. i dont think the weakness taked away from the card's value.
eyo this card is spitting??
ballpoint propaganda
well it is a hood classic
imma just say
it's like rapid blaster but slightly less efficient on special usage. the staircase shape is relatively easier to work with, though.
9/10
I have used this card on and off, it is pretty good, I often times it inconvenient to combo with (as in activating both cards' specials) but besides that it is a really good card and also it's art is nice so that's a plus imo
