Discuss how this normal card would be placed into the tier list! Assuming how easily it can be used in general or placed into a deck. Factors which contribute to this include offense, (poking/piercing, flanking, winning clashes) defense, (blocking, establishing routes, map control/occupying space) openings, (meaning its played on the 1st turn) special building, (combo ability, how easy is it to activate the card's special point) special attacks, (this can be considered for all aspects of the match which is early/mid/endgame) its ability to be played at any time, (wont be a brick/unusable past a specific point) and finally the niche situations that it would be usable in if thats applicable. Which is described in the voting channel. (Note that every map is considered in discussions except for Box Seats)

Peak poker, I'm sure others can elaborate

tepid thorn

high tier card that's useful for many of the reasons Suction Bomb is good. easy special, easy combo, can be used to get in on the final turns, overall reliable workhorse.

Best poking tool in the game, probably. Very solid card at getting special. Cute art. Makes your food taste better. This card really does do everything.

This might be my first 10 ngl. I can't really think of anything wrong with it

To further clarify, iirc I gave splat bomb and smallfry 9 because their weakness came from there being situations where only one of the two would activate in a gap. Whereas with wiper, if there's a long wide area that will fit it, usually it's going to activate something, and even if not there's no other card with the same configuration that can compare. If there was a card that was the fizzy bomb to wiper's suction bomb then maybe there'd be an argument there

#

In any case it's probably the best 2 cost special because it is very easy to find an area it will perfectly cover and it can poke effectively

I had to think really hard to come up with negatives about this card
but here's what I found:

edgy wyvern
#

there's no better 2-cost - giving it a 10/10
it's pretty good for blocking off areas, for activating special, for filling in long gaps which happens all the time, the most aggressive 2-cost, the best 2-cost to start with if you have to-, 2 cost for 5 spaces is pretty good too PwoahPwoah

i put this card in basically all of my decks. most efficient special cost at 2/5 so it can reach for early-game pierces while still being able to combo with just about anything because it's 1 block wide usually there's a spot in a corner where this can combo perfectly with some bombs if some special needs to be built up. since it's the most efficient in special cost of its kind, i'd say it's perfect at what it is meant to do.

10/10
