PS2 Static Recompilation (PS2 games with Remix)
I wonder if it's possible to run the Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition PC port via RTX Remix this way? Although this port isn't a recompilation, it is a full port from the PS2 that completely replicates the original's architecture and code.
request code veronica x, for reverse engineering port
and another request, Red Dead Revolver
Request:
Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks and Mortal Kombat Armageddon
surprised no one suggested The Warriors yet
Request: Burnout 3 Takedown
Time splitters 2
Any news on this stuff @weary gulch
I wonder if you can plug a ps2 to PC to help
shortly after i started this project, someone else released their complete version: https://github.com/ran-j/PS2Recomp
thanks to Murray for showing this to me
going to mess with this with some games at least
@weary gulchI hope you don't stress yourself out you're running so many projects at the moment

i'm making progress on ratchet deadlocked using this codebase
i think it's close to booting (though, ofc it won't run after that. but getting it to boot at all would be huge)
it wont run without a bios
somehow you need the bios code from a ps2
plus dvd format was bluray back then
wait no
dvds tho
i don't see anything on their wiki or readme about needing the bios
even so, i have the one from my PS2
this internet page maybe functional with backwards engineering. if so mounting and making an ISO from complete games maybe an option.
RTX Remix with opengl games or ISO mounted games. if this is completely irrelevant.. please advise.
This is only for Jack and Daxter games, because itβs emulating game scripts (GOAL). Opengl version is 3.0+ so it does not work with qindiegl. A motivated coder can downgrade the opengl version. RemixCompat needs YOU! π
@weary gulch any luck with anything
