i'd make sure your vanilla gmod install isnt wrecked

but your issue is that you're running the launcher and the game in onedrive
that will not work
it needs to be a local folder on your PC
its not in onbe drive

if it ends up being arc9, it might be a specific weapon pack, so you'll need to find the one so i can add it to the incompatible list while we figure out a way to fix it

u can configure emissive intensity in lighting tab in remix main settings

i think the arc9 weps just dont like to play nicely with rtx but i could be wrong

since my muzzle flashes have the same issue and emissive doesnt change much on them

press the bracket key shown in the bind command, fire your gun, pause, use alt+x to open the remix menu, select the texture as a particle
if its still too bright, the texture would need to either be ignored in the runtime to prevent the issue, or you can replace the texture using the remixx toolkit

Simple freecam has stopped working and gave me this error when trying to use, it doesnt do this on vanilla and it used to work on remix. Also getting unknown command: rtx_flashlight_toggle even though I should have it weird
check your problems button
if the remix flashlight isnt available, the actual remixbinary addon could be failing to load for some reason
no idea about the freecam addon, but the binary module isnt being loaded in for remixbinary
looking at the file structure, you're on a older version of the gmod rtx fixes 2 addon
0.8.0 came out a few days ago, so try updating to that via the launcher, but delete remixbinary inside addons first
otherwise files will conflict
yeah it was saying the folder was from a couple months ago
odd since that i always re-ran all patches (ofc not the amd patch) everytime there was an update

Seems to exacerbate pre-existing Ray Reconstruction artifacts.
Changing to model D reduces them.
using rtx.rayreconstruction.combineSpecularAlbedo = False seems to eliminate the artifacts.
Important one:
rtx.volumetrics.waterFogDensityThreshold = 0.9
Placing this into dxvk.conf or rtx.conf, and setting this value higher than the default 0.065 is what resolves the vanishing volumetrics issue
